Drivers

Getting the app

Journey Driver is on the App Store and Google Play. Your manager pairs it to your business with a code from the office app, then sets your PIN. You don't need an account, an email address or a password.

Signing in

Pick your name and enter your six-digit PIN. If the PIN doesn't work, a manager can reset it from the office app. After a few wrong tries the app makes you wait before trying again.

"This device is no longer paired"

This means a manager deactivated the phone, or the business's account was closed. Ask a manager to pair it again. Nothing you recorded is lost.

No signal

Keep going. Every tap is saved on the phone and sent when the signal comes back. The Settings screen shows how many entries are waiting. If you try to log out while entries are waiting, the app tells you and offers to send them first.

Location and camera

Both are optional. If you allow location, it is attached to the moment you tap Arrived or Departed so the office can check a stop time. The app doesn't track you between taps or in the background. The camera is used only for fuel receipts you choose to photograph. You control both in your phone's settings.

An entry could not be saved

Once in a while the office rejects an entry, for example when a stop was removed from the route after you recorded it. The Settings screen lists these. Tell a manager what you recorded so they can enter it by hand.

Managers

Signing in

Use the email your account was invited on. Sign in at app.neoworkjourney.com. If you haven't been invited, ask the owner of your business's account.

Pairing a phone

Open Devices and choose Pair device. That gives you a code that works once and only for a short time. Enter it on the phone. For a tester who isn't in the room, tick "Valid for 90 days" when you generate the code.

Setting a driver's PIN

Open Members, pick the driver and choose Set PIN. The driver can also choose their own PIN the first time they sign in on a paired phone.

A run is missing

Runs are created ahead of time from the route's schedule. Check that the route is live, that it runs on that day of the week, and that its end date, if it has one, hasn't passed. Publishing a changed route updates future runs that haven't started.

Billing

The Billing page in the office app shows the subscription, the active driver count and the invoice history. If a payment fails, drivers keep recording and reports stay open, but editing pauses until the subscription is active again. See pricing.

App versions

The driver app checks its version when it signs in. If it's too old to work with the office, it says so and points you to the store. Update it and sign in again. The version is shown under Settings.
