Every tap is written to the phone the moment it happens and queued for the office. Sync runs in the background, in order, and retries on its own. The driver never waits on a spinner.
The phone is written first, every time. Records reach the office in the order they were made, and a background task keeps sending them even with the app closed.
Here is what happens, in the order it happens.
- 05:07The van pulls into an underground dock and the signal goes. The driver taps Arrived. The phone saves it and shows a small "Pending".
- 05:09Two tasks are done and one is skipped with "Nothing to collect". All three queue behind the arrival.
- 05:18The driver taps Departed. Four records are waiting. The driver drives on, and the app says nothing more about it.
- 05:24Back on the street, the signal returns and the queue drains in order. The office sees the stop exactly as it happened, with the times intact.
The day is on the phone before the day starts.
Today's runs, stops, target times, tasks and standing instructions are pulled down and kept. Sign-in works offline too, against the PIN the phone already knows. A driver who starts the day in a basement starts anyway.
Nobody logs out without knowing what hasn't been sent.
The Settings screen shows how many entries have not reached the office. If a driver logs out with any waiting, the app asks first, offers to try again, and says plainly that they will send when the phone reconnects. Nothing is dropped quietly.
